Website creation platform Wix released a new conversational AI today that is capable of generating a personalized business website simply by having an in-depth chat with a user.
A “human-like conversation” between the AI and the user collects all the required information to tailor a website for their needs. Dynamic questioning and follow-up questions based on responses help select the required components for the new website while also constructing a business profile in the background.
The end result is a finished website without any work required by the user, but they do have the option to tweak it if necessary before the site goes live.
Guy Sopher, Head of AI Assistant at Wix, explains:
“This new AI technology serves as an excellent starting point for creating a business profile by eliminating the need for users to manually understand which components they need to run their business online … This is the first step to completely automating business management with AI, and opens the door for users to have a unique and personalized experience to set up a business even better and stronger than before.”
Wix teased the use of AI to generate websites for users back in July, holding the promise of drastically cutting down the time it takes to build a website. That experience is now available to Wix users in English.
