The Nationalist Party has launched a new AI-powered chatbot on its website designed to personalise its manifesto proposals for individual users, a move the party is describing as “a first in Malta”.
The tool allows people to enter details such as their age, gender and personal circumstances before generating a tailored explanation of which proposals would directly affect them.
Rather than reading through an entire manifesto, users can ask the chatbot how the party’s plans apply to their own situation, with the AI then producing a personalised response based on the information provided.
For example, students could receive information focused on education and employment proposals, while pensioners, parents or self-employed workers would each be shown different measures relevant to them specifically.
According to the PN, the aim is to make political proposals easier to understand and more accessible through AI technology.
The chatbot is currently live on the party’s website and forms part of the PN’s wider digital campaign strategy ahead of the next general election.
