Oura, maker of the highly popular Oura Ring, has launched its first proprietary artificial intelligence model for personalized women’s health support. The company has designed this AI model to deliver personalized, clinically grounded guidance for women’s health. Currently, it is available as an experimental feature through Oura Labs. This custom Large Language Model integrates seamlessly into the Oura Advisor chatbot.
Oura Ring’s AI model analyzes a user’s unique daily biometric data alongside long-term health trends. Using those metrics, the AI provides conversational, evidence-based insights into menstrual cycles, fertility patterns, pregnancy stages, and overall menopause. As per Oura, what sets this tool apart from rivals is its rigorous foundation in medical science. The brand has trained the model exclusively on clinical research, medical guidelines, and peer-reviewed knowledge vetted by certified women’s health experts.
As per Oura, users can ask the AI chatbot specific questions. For example, they can ask how their menstrual cycle affects daily stress levels. Or how they can improve sleep quality during their third trimester. After analysing the query, the AI delivers supportive and evidence-based answers.
Oura has not designed the tool to replace medical diagnostics or professional treatment. “Instead, it serves as an educational springboard to help women understand their complex wellness patterns and prepare for informed discussions with their healthcare providers“, added the brand.
As we’ve mentioned above, Oura Ring’s AI model for personalized women’s health support feature is currently in its testing phase within Oura Labs. If you’re eager to try it, you can find Oura Labs inside the Oura application by using the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the app. Once you’ve opted in, you can begin using the custom women’s AI health model.
You can also try Oura’s blood pressure profile study inside the menu, which is among the two of the experimental features in Oura Labs right now. Oura hasn’t yet announced when it’ll launch the feature permanently in its app for all members.
