In the midst of her 3rd annual "AI Week", NYS Senator Kristen Gonzalez (D-Queens) joined Power & Politics.
Gonzalez is the Chair of the Senate's Internet and Technology Committee, alongside Steve Otis, Chair of the Assembly’s Science and Technology Committee, and Assemblymember Michaelle Solages, hosting a week of advocacy, presentations and programs pushing for the passage of Artificial Intelligence legislation.
Gonzalez discussed her legislation targeting chatbots and data centers, along with the current dynamic between the federal government and state government when it comes to regulating artificial intelligence.
