CHAT GPT is down, as thousands of users report being unable to access the site.
Downdetector has received over 500 complaints over the past hour that the AI chatbot is mysteriously not working.
It is not clear why the site is down, but it could be because the service has been overloaded, or because of a bug.
On the Open AI website, it says that the chatbot is currently experiencing Compliance API Data Delays which have been ongoing for five days.
A message on the website reads: "We are still actively implementing the mitigation.
"We will move the status back to Monitoring once we observe substantial improvements in processing performance.
"Thank you for your continued patience."
Social media users have shared their annoyance on X, with one person stating: "@OpenAI STOP ERROR PLSSS."
More users reported issued yesterday, with one person stating: "Has ChatGPT had another outage today?"
A second said: "Chat GPT not working again???"
Another person, reporting an issue on Wednesday, said: "I can't access my ChatGPT app.
"It's been giving me error messages since this morning.
"I really need to use it today."
Earlier this month, thousands were left unable to use the chatbot after it was down for hours, leaving users with a mysterious error message.
The error message read: "A network error occurred.
"Please check your connection and try again. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com."

Outages seem to happen more often these days what with us so dependent on the many apps and digital services on offer.
Reasons behind them can vary widely.
Usually it's down to an internal error, such as a bungled update that didn't go to plan.
These can be minor and reversed within minutes or a couple of hours.
But bigger outages can go on for days and cause mayhem, such as the big CrowdStrike tech issue that plunged the world into chaos.
Other more serious reasons can be cyber attacks.
Bad actors love a DDoS attack, where they bombard a service with so many requests that it struggles to work for anyone.
Other users reported a reply that said: "Hmm.. something seems to have gone wrong."
ChatGPT is free to use, but you can pay for more advanced features.
First, you’ll first need to make an Open AI account.
You’ll be able to do that when you navigate to the official ChatGPT website.
