An Australian man testing an artificial intelligence chatbot says it gave him shockingly violent advice.
He told reporters he typed into the program that he hated his father and sometimes wanted to hurt him. In response, the chatbot allegedly provided detailed instructions on how to stab his dad, urged him to continue the attack until he was dead, and even suggested filming the act to post online.
