AIMatics, a company specialising in AI video recognition, said on Sept. 8 it has partnered with quick-service platform Insungdata to launch an AI chatbot dedicated to quick-service call centres.
The company said the commercialised chatbot is the first case of applying an industry-specific small language model (SLM) developed in-house by AIMatics to a B2B business site. Embedded directly into Insungdata’s quick-service call platform, it will automatically handle call-centre tasks such as order intake, delivery tracking and general inquiries.
AIMatics plans to use the chatbot’s commercialisation as a representative AX success reference in the logistics industry, expand its B2B customer base to quick-service and large logistics companies, and increase partnership revenue. After completing the first phase of building a text chatbot, it plans to sequentially introduce a voice automation (voice AI) solution to fit on-the-ground conditions where phone consultations account for an absolute share, as part of a strategy to complete an AICC solution lineup covering both text and voice.
Lee Hoon (이훈), chief executive of AIMatics, said, "It is the reality that unstructured data in logistics sites is difficult to fully handle with general-purpose AI alone." He added, "Starting with a proven, industry-specific SLM-based chatbot, we will expand to call-centre voice automation within this year and lead the AI transformation (AX) of the logistics B2B market."
