When it comes to AI, questions about job security are top-of-mind for many communicators. Accepting that the technology is here to stay, their minds pivot to determining how much time they should spend using AI every day. From there, topics of focus include everything from the best tools to AI’s impact on creativity.

PRWeek set out to answer industry pros’ most pressing questions about generative AI, realizing there is a sense of urgency to move beyond the “dipping toes into the water” stage to meaningful implementation. Seventeen PR leaders were enlisted to help.

The result is this eBook: “Time to Take the Lead.”

The group of counselors represent in-house teams, agencies, trade groups, academia, executive recruitment and even the perspective of a board of directors. It also includes PRWeek Hall of Famers and Dashboard 25 honorees.

The eBook includes:
-Use cases, such as guidance on prompting and a look at how AI is helping leaders with the very first task they take on every day as they start work;
-Assessing AI’s impact on quality, creativity and efficiency; 
-Motivating communicators to embrace their responsibility of fostering the organization-wide adoption of AI, beyond their own teams;
-Fears and concerns about AI.

The word “transformation” is used a lot — it can be hyperbolic, but not when it comes to AI’s impact on the PR profession. Communicators have a unique opportunity to not only benefit from that transformation, but to shape it.
